1/72 Monogram F8F-1B Bearcat. GC 1/9 "Limousin, based at Cat-Bi from 1951 - 1952. This is the aircraft of the group's second in command and carries a Fennec and black eagle on the cowlings in reverse order to the rest of the group.

Paints: Humbrol and Revell Acrylics - Spray can for the base colour - all other paints applied by

hairy sticks.

Bien Hoa Airbase, South Vietnam 1968-70

1:350 scale - build thread here

All the buildings are scratchbuilt, as are some of the vehicles and aircraft. The remainder are L'Arsenal 1:350 kits. The figures are from the Tamiya 1:350 naval set.

The diorama measures 5ft by 4ft (152cm x 122cm)

Vought A-7D Corsair II in 1/48 from Hasegawa, with Two Bobs decal set for the "Molar Maurauder". Only painted as such for one day only on the 1st of June 1973 apparently! The commander of the 354th TFW was not happy with how the artwork turned out!
