NIce update, it's amazing the result, cheers Gremlin

Thank you Francis, more to come :coolio::winkgrin:

Cor looking good!

Like the extra detail your adding

Kev

Thanks Kev, I now have two bloody great brake drums to build which attach to the drive wheels and naturally do not fit at all :analintruder:

Much head-scratching, frowning and "expletive's deleted" going on at the moment

Time for a beer and some serious puzzling how to get this all to fit :hmmm::blink::unsure::huh::(:huh::undecided::blink2::crosseyed::wacko:

Nice and steady work Gremlin.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Those little details all add up mate.

Looking good.

Simon.

My "amazing Katana style reaming blade Sukei Mura incredible sharp blade thingy can't think of any more knife thingy" has helped to remove a lot of paint and some plastic so the brake drums fit. The wire guard thingies to stop you losing pieces of finger have been fitted as well. Might even get this looking reasonable :analintruder: Can thoroughly recommend said "amazing Katana style reaming blade Sukei Mura incredible sharp blade thingy can't think of any more knife thingy" because of in spite of non-ergonomic name the bloody thing does work even if it has to have a habit of cutting chunks of fingers off..........................................

Thanks Dan, still a long road to travel on this build. Enjoying this build very much with the challenges being put down by me and not by Trumpeter.

The JT is a sort of beacon on the horizon though so who knows what might come after this build

Gremlin56,

It is possible to replace lattices, while the getting is good...???

They look roughly and too deeply....
Look in my blog as I have made it. It isn't difficult at all

That looks great. Where did you get the mesh you used?

Where can one obtain a " Katana style reaming blade Sukei Mura "? I googled it and it came up with a site for deviants :hmmm:

" The JT is a sort of beacon on the horizon though so who knows what might come after this build "

Would this beacon also be leading to the new larger house/workshop ?

Various type/sizes of mesh here

Er, no the house is fine, it's the size of the models that is problematic.

Thanks for the link to the mesh, I'll head of to the "Luchtvaarthobbyshop" this afternoon and see what they might have in stock.

29/4 update:

Work proceeds on the brake-drums. Don't pay too much attention to the colours at the moment. There is method to my madness, well, at least I think there is.

Like the way the detail keeps on piling in

Enjoying this build

Looking forward to loads more after your break. Don't eat/drink to much LOL

Kev

The detail increases whilst the space for the crew shrinks alarmingly :coolio::analintruder: I'll try and eat much too much, munch, munch munch......................................................

30/4 update:

Right hand side brake fitted, weathering in process. The left hand side brake has been given a ground coat. Fit is still good. There is a lot of detailing that will disappear behind a nice and solid cover
