Graham T
Specifically the Revell 1/48 kit. There is a circular hole in the roof of the bomb bay towards the rear; should this be glazed or is it simply a "hole"? Also the inspection windows (or are they camera windows?) in the bomb basy doors & mid fuselage undersides behind the bomb bay; the instructions state that these should be painted black as per the rest of the undersides but is this correct? PFlint
I think the two in the bomb-bay doors are for reconnaissance cameras (i.e. for the PR Mk IV ) the one aft of the bomb bay might be for a strike camera ????
Graham T
Bump, any guidance?
JasonC
All three of the underside windows are for cameras, although not all may have had cameras behind them on any given B.IV. In which case I suppose it's conceivable that they may have been painted over, but it would seem unlikely at first glance. Personally I would leave them clear unless there were a photo to show otherwise. J.
