Cromm Cruac
Here is my latest one I just finished. Built for my brother in law as a present for his 40th birthday. He's obsessed with Warsaw Uprising of '44 so I've decided to make him B-24 Liberator from 1586 Special Duty Flight - a Polish squadron delivering supplies for the fighting Warsaw in August and September '44 from Brindisi, Italy. Front of the plane is a little inaccurate as the Liberators from that squadron didn't have front guns but I kinda liked this side window and the guns so I've kept them. Again, some Photoshop work to blend the diorama with the background photo. Thanks for viewing. Hope you like it (and him too).
Radleigh
Very cool, love both the model and photos!
Knight_Flyer
That is certainly an impressive build. I think just about everything is perfect from the build, the paint finish and weathering. Not to mention the diorama setting and photography. I'm sure your brother in law will be very happy with his birthday present.

stevehnz
That is some wonderful work on display there. I'm with your brother on this, I think the chapter in Closterman's "Flames in the Sky" describing these supply flights to Warsaw is so powerful & poignant. I've shivers running down my spine just typing this. Steve.

Graham Boak
Excellent work. Please paint over the B/3 on the Matador, as that's telling us it belongs to 3 Group Bomber Command. Sorry, I've no idea what the equivalent markings would have been in Italy.
Lancbuilder219
Nice work on both! The setting is very realistic. The first few images could easily be mistaken for photos of the real thing!

Mountain goat
Missed this one - what a cracking model - your photography is awesome; like you're in the desert yourself. Focusing on the figures in the foreground is a master stroke, makes it look alive. Jay
