Tamiya 1/35 Marder III M in the snow

I built this Marder years ago when I first returned to the hobby but I really messed up the camo on it so I decided to give it a winter camo to cover it and put it on a base

I hope you like it and comments are welcome:)

First of all I love the result, but can I say what I think it looks like is really severe frost, living in the Scottish highlands I see this a lot, rather than camouflage.

Can I be really cheeky and ask how it's done, I have a tamiya Sd.kfz.7/1 with on board 20mm flak gun which would suit a good "frosting"

Cheers Pat

I see where your coming from and the idea behind this was that it had been hastily painted in the field with a white wash as many were and I agree it could be used for both finishes

This was a simple job , I first painted the base as it would have looked then I gave it a watered down coat of white matt then I just dry brushed it in streaks of white matt to give an uneven look

I hope this helps you out
