Strangeways
I built this after seeing a profile over on the Claveworks Graphics site. The Airfix 1/72 Hawk 100 kit was used, as I felt the nose looked more F1-ish. Built pretty much OOB except for the decals, which I made myself. bentwaters81tfw
The gun pod would be useful in a race! That finish is superb. I thought it was a diecast. Are those panel lines really that deep?

Strangeways
Thanks a lot for the kind comments A top idea! Something else than Spit`s , 109`s. and so on. How did you made the decals???? ( Ink printer)?? Best regards Andy Thanks Andy, they were printed on an ALPS printer. That's excellent - what a really good idea. Great work on the base as well - how did you achieve that? Cheers, Roger Cheers Roger. It's just an acrylic block sprayed flat black, then the checkered-flag design masked off and sprayed with Klear to create a black-on-black design. The gun pod would be useful in a race! That finish is superb. I thought it was a diecast. Are those panel lines really that deep? They are a bit deep, aren't they? I think was one of the earlier Airfix new-tools, the panel lines have gradually got finer and sharper with subsequent releases.
