kwality8
Hi Here's an OOB Warrior, and my first model painted with an airbrush. I followed some suggestions from fellow Britmodellers and bought the Revell Basic Airbrush set - works just fine. I had rubbish results using thinned Humbrol acrylics, so bought Vallejo Model Air paints instead - they seem to work great, but smell a bit funny (I wear a mask now!). Hope you like 'em:
Alpha Delta 210
Great results there - I love them all! I have built all of these in the past (except the Lynx and figures) and thoroughly enjoyed them.

DAG058
What a great warrior, nicely done collection too! I once tried humbrol paint as well, bloody terrible decision, the vallejos should serve you well if you manage to find the right mixture and set up. exdraken
very nice! great job on weathering and detail work I think Airfix did a great job on releasing this set! I am not sure how well these are selling outside of their home market... the Merlin is missing I personally would also like to see a Challenger II (I know, not in Afghanistan...) but would be great!
kwality8
Thanks all for the kind comments! A snatch Landy and a second WMIK are in progress... To be followed by a Revell Apache... The Airfix Merlin would be nice, but it looks massive & costs ~ ยฃ60! And a Chinook is on the wish list too. Not sure if Airfix do one.
exdraken
Revell reboxed the Italeri Chinook as a HC1 (or 3? what would be the difference modeling wise?) https://www.scalemates.com/kits/106172-revell-04641-chinook-hc-mk-1 Itaelri does several variants (spare the new F and G model) HC3/ HC5 have bigger sponsons for more fuel, I think they are not provided anywhere as of now... it is massive again! here a nice build thread: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/42233-revell-148-chinook-hc1-99-complete/page-
kwality8
I'm probably more tempted by the Chinook than the Merlin - I love an old, well-worn workhorse! I'll look into the Italeri one...
zathrus101
The only thing missing front your collection is the bulldog...432. Sadly a kit which is sadly not covered by ANY mainstream kit manufacturer. Very nice kits. Wish I could do as well....

kwality8
A Merlin is in progress (slowly)... I'd like to complete the set with: Scimitar Warthog/Viking Bulldog Panther Husky Maybe one day I'll be able to source them! Any ideas...?

I'm sure you know that Takom do two Bulldog variants in 1/35 and S&M models do an fv432 in 1/76. Edited August 10, 2019 by Whofan
