Jinxman
hi, Had a chance to process some shots from the Air Day - my favourite show so far this year - plenty of variety, action and nice flying, with hot and hazy weather to boot, Here are the shots, hope you like 'em,
Paul Bradley
Nice work! Love the Tiger Moth close-up, and the colouring of the Seafire exhausts (Noted for my next Spit model). Thanks for sharing!
Latinbear
The usual very high quality that we look forward to seeing. Super shots. I think the Bronco and the Tiger Moth are my favourites. Thank you for sharing these.

tonyot
Sorry I meant to ask earlier,......is that an 18 Sqn badge on the side of the Skyvan? Also, is this the Skyvan operated on behalf of 1 PTS to drop paratroopers after the old balloon jumps were discontinued? Cheers Tony
Jinxman
Thanks all for the kind comments - really the hard work was done by the organisers for sticking so much stuff in front of us. We were lucky with the Chinook scheme as the usual 27 Sqn bird was apparently unavailable, (according to the commentator), so they had to borrow one from 18( - perhaps it was planned to be like this anyway - anybody know for sure? hi Tony, yup, it's an 18 Sqn badge, even though the Skyvan is civilian (G-BEOL I think) - not sure if it operates around Weston-On-The-Green - some of the guys I talked to at the show said they were expecting to see another Skyvan - G-PIGY which is in a similar scheme. It was nice to see it though - I think it was used for air-to-air with the Frecce, definitely no para drops during the show. cheers
