Bigglesof266
I can, and I haven't visited this particular thread page for an aeon, so they aren't cached on my HD. I can see all the images including those on the first page of the thread. I just tested for you both copying an image link and going direct to Photobucket with a browser refresh. I can confirm the image links are all still publicly accessible as is the OPs entire "Roland C IIa" album (along with his others; e.g. Albatros D.V). Win7 X64 + Chrome browser here.

Michael M
I don't really know what the problem was/is. I haven't exceeded my bandwidth with photobucket lately. Whale ready for oils and other stuff: Thanks for following.

Bob Henry
The prop looks really good. If it was painted can you provide a description as to how it was painted ? Thanks for posting. Bob H.

Michael M
Thanks. Nothing really special Bob. I've painted the layers on the prop with Tami acrylics and after that I've splashed oil burned siena with some old scabby paintbrush. I guess it will dry for at least a week. Bob Henry
Thanks. Nothing really special Bob. I'm leaning toward the simpler methods that achieve a good result ... like yours. Bob H.
sharkmouth
Excellent! Ii is nice to see that a great result is possible since I have the same kit in my stash. Regards,
Michael M
My motto always was: the simpler the better I'm glad you like that parrot, I can't wait to get rid of it from my bench and go for something floating. Just a little teaser today: I like that toothy sweetheart you have in your signature Sharkmouth, they may be obsolete, but they make a damn good impression when seen live

Michael M
I have a problem., just don't know what to do..... Which way should I put in on the lawn? Option A: Option B: There probably will be a ladder, some tools and the engine cowling scattered around the nose... Just rigging left.....
Bob Henry
Actually I'm thinking option "C' ... a slight angle ... something between those two. But I'm very inexperienced. It looks great to me. Bob H.
Martian
Always place your models at an angle on a display base, it looks more natural. Martin
