Reini78
poor little MiG in the harsh winter :-) awesome work!! sadly you don´t see much of your nice interior work afterwards
thepureness
That looks awesome, amazing work. There is a possibility of an eastern front GB next year if we get the Votes and something like this is what my plan was to try, you have given me a massive amount of inspiration with your model. Also, is that metal foil or paint for the NMF before the paint was applied?

Jamie_Graham
poor little MiG in the harsh winter :-) awesome work!! sadly you don´t see much of your nice interior work afterwards Thank you! Yes, you can't see very much of these interiors ... but, no problem at all, i know they are there (and now, you too) . That looks awesome, amazing work. There is a possibility of an eastern front GB next year if we get the Votes and something like this is what my plan was to try, you have given me a massive amount of inspiration with your model. Also, is that metal foil or paint for the NMF before the paint was applied? I'm glad to know that job inspired to you! About the metal layer, i use the lacquer Alclad II (Polished Aluminium). They are quite fragile but the have a amazing finishing. I didn't found nothing similar! Errrm WOW! Thanks!! Excellent dio! Thank you!! What a super job. Really nice weathering. I enjoyed the looking at this. Thanks for sharing. Rod Thank you very much for your kind words, Rod! Edited August 3, 2015 by Jamie_Graham
Synopsis
Your attention to detail is fantastic, the base alone is amazing and thats before we look at what you have displayed upon it. The aircraft is finished beautifully and the dio its in just raise up to another level. Seriously fantastic work, I keep looking and notice more each time. I salute you sir on a job extremely well done

Knight_Flyer
Looks like a lot of work has gone into the model and diorama that certainly has paid off. Very realistic looking it is, I think they will have to wait for the Spring thaw before the MiG can go anywhere
redcap
Without doubt, one of the most realistic and best presented model a/c I have ever seen. Just fabulous! Gary
Jessica
There are no possible superlatives fit to describe that model. When I saw this picture: I immediately thought that it would look excellent in a factory diorama. Perhaps next model?

Tbolt
That's a very impressive build and the weathering is some of the best I have seen. The base is also very impressive, I've never seen slushy snow looking that realistic in a diorama, what did you use to make it?

I salute you sir on a job extremely well done jejejee Thanks a lot! I'm very glad that you like my build. When i do a project, i always think in the general "context" and not only in the plane. It's very important to me create the proper ambient! Crikey, this is a bit special! Very nice indeed Thank you very much!! Gorgeous. One of the best bits of paintwork I have seen so far. Really brilliant stuff mate. Thank you very much!! I'm not sure if it's so good ... but i really feel confortable in the paint phase. I think this is my strong point ... but i'm working to improve the rest. Very war weary bird. Looks very convincing. Like especially the interior work - very nice. Cheers, Michael Thank you very much Michael! Bl**dy hell that's excellent. I mean WOW lost for words. jejee Thanks a lot!! Looks like a lot of work has gone into the model and diorama that certainly has paid off. Very realistic looking it is, I think they will have to wait for the Spring thaw before the MiG can go anywhere Thank you for your kind words! Indeed, i had been working in this build a lots of months ... but, i never think how work i'm gonna spend in each project ... i only enjoy the process. Without doubt, one of the most realistic and best presented model a/c I have ever seen. Just fabulous! Gary Thank you very much Gary! I have no doubt that there are a lot models better than this but i'm glad for your words!!

When I saw this picture: I immediately thought that it would look excellent in a factory diorama. Perhaps next model? Thank you Jessica! jejee yes .. this view of the Mig with only the base layer is very nice to use it in a factory dio. I thought the same when i did it ... but i always have a very specific planning. There is no time to improvisation! I have a lot of ideas to do ... but sadly, i've not too much time to develop them. Now, i'm building a very original project ... "The Falcon of Malta", where a Spitfire Vb is transforming in a Peregrin Falcon. I hope explain this project here very soon. Pure three-dimensional work of art. Most impressive. Kind regards, Joachim Thank you very much Joaquin! No words needed...unbielivable! I especially like the imaginative base! Congrats, Matyi from Hungary Thanks Matyi! For me, the base is a important part of the build, it's the way how you show you job to the people and it conditioned everything. Brilliant model! It looks amazing, the weathering is very special. Thank you Val! Indeed ... the strong point of this job is the weathering effect, it's the reason because i did it! That's a very impressive build and the weathering is some of the best I have seen. The base is also very impressive, I've never seen slushy snow looking that realistic in a diorama, what did you use to make it? Thanks!! I did the snow mixing different technics, but i did most snow with sodium bicarbonato. I never feel tied to any technic or product ... i find a specific result and i use whatever a need to get it. I'm not afraid to improvise! A competition winning model, I think! Beautiful work. jejee thank you very much! I think it's depend of the competitions! Absolutely stunning model and diorama! Very realistic, and as has already been said very inspirational. Very well done. Craig. And an Eastern Front GB sounds good to me! Thanks Craig! Yes, i think the Eastern Front GB may be a fabulous theme to do a Group Builds! You have a lot of possibilities! That is an great build! thanks for sharing. Thank you very much!!! Thank you everybody for your kind comments.
