RFindley
"With regards to your "loaded for bear" remark: the VC must have been chucking a lot of heavy metal at these crews as well to warrant this kind of fire power." B-40 rockets and .51 Cal Chicom machine guns can ruin your day. No to mention the small arms and mines. longshanks
Finally managed to sort the .50cal feeds for the fwd turret thanks to Dan The answer came from Live Resin http://models-hobby.com/50-caliber-feed-chutes-this-model-is-made-by-flexible-resin.html I must admit to having concerns with ordering from Russia but I guess Putin was to busy to bother with my order and everything went to plan. From top to bottom feed chute, 7.62mm belt & 0.5cal belt As fitted Worth the effort as there was no chance of fitting the original Tamiya supplied chutes Kev

beefy66
You could almost see your self jumping into that tub and giving Charlie what for while heading up the Mekong delta with both barrels blazing away excellent detail there Kev Beefy
RFindley
Hey Kev; Your PBR is coming along nicely. I will follow your lead on the ammo feeds as they are an improvement over the kits. Maybe I can get around to breaking my PBR out of the stack and start working on it. I do have a couple of things in the works right now including Merit's X-Craft. BTW I finished my 1/48 Monogram Command Junk and posted some pictures in the completed/ready fro review forum. Later Rick in Virginia
longshanks
Ok time for an up date, I've been mucking about with different materials to try and convey the bow wave/spray I'm thinking this might do the job In the raw and with a flash coat of off white to show the detail It obviously needs more work in the colour department but what do you think of the basic wave/spray? Thanks for looking in Kev

seadog
Think the 1st shot, with more clear gell was good. River water doesn't foam as much as seawater...YMMV

longshanks
Ok started again, previous lot cut off.......... Trying to refine it lol River colour changed, less red The stbd side was created with Geocel The Works, a transparent adhesive/sealant which can be painted over The port side was created in the same way but I Felt the effect with just the works was to 'spikey' for foam areas so I have softened this with acrylic modelling paste Looks better but hats only my opinion, see what you think I laid some of the geocel up on cling film wrapped around a tube, definite possibilities for waves Thanks for looking in Kev
