Rodders154
After waiting for to me the highlight of the releases this year only equalled by the upcoming Airfix seaking I am more than deflated I was so looking forward to this kit and even though I am not the most accurate of modellers I feel let down The kit is the old OH58A with a few added parts. First of all the skids are now the high skids which is what I wanted but the bend at the top is far too thick and to be honest they are best replaced with thin wire. The rear cabin has no seats I got around it by using some from the spares box but it really should have been in the kit especially the price they are charging circa £13 The tail pylon has the shaft cover now but not the gearbox housing it may only be a little thing but it should be there as the LAPD aircraft pictures when googled show it in place, The decal instructions are very hit and miss the LAPD drawing shows the placement of the spanish police's tail rotor warning decal as well as the italian aircrafts serial. the drawings and the box art show the right ariel under the tail but the kit suppliers the wrong one The rear doors have the place for the minigun still moulded on but apart from the italian one in the helicopter museum i cannot recal any civvy ones having them I am just disappointed as this was my release of the year and hoped for better. Anyway normal 5ft away looking distance applies Rodders
heloman1
Looks good Rodders. sounds like another half ar... Italeri research job. Bet they wouldn't do it in one of their armour kits? Thankfully I have a couple of the 48th ESCI kits Colin

k5054nz
It's a bit unfair to say Italeri did a poor research job considering the many differences between the OH-58A and the 206!!! It takes a lot of work to do a JetRanger from this kit. Great job Rodders! I'm partway through a similar conversion and it's tough with such a small model.
