sub-builder
Loving my 1/350 scale U-boats at the moment, finally found a weathering style that I like. From Left to right, Hobbyboss Type VIIA, Revell Type VIIC, Revell Type VIID, Micromir HMS Meteorite and Atlas Type XXI. These have been fun filling the gap while I wait on some OKB 1/700 subs now and the Micromir K-class come on Royal Mail!!!
whitestar12chris
Nice u-boats, just for reference the hobbyboss type VIIA is inaccurate at the aft end, the Type VIIA only had a single rudder, not a pair as with the VIIB onwards, this was hobbyboss's attempt to extract different variants from the same moulds. There is a past thread about this about a year or so ago. All the best Chris
sub-builder
Yeah i think I remember that thread, i tried to do my own research before the build but couldn't find any pictures of the stern so I just built out of the box cheers for the feedback

AndyC
I'm the same - I've got quite hooked on 1/350 subs - great work
Alan P
Really like the hull wear on the U-552. Nice!
Darby
OK, you sold it to me. May have to invest in some for my London bench for evening escapism
sub-builder
Absolutely, they don't take long and they go together really nicely. I'd buy more just so I can improve a little bit with each build but i don't have the space
