Hi Everyone,

A quick note to say the Vincent Black Shadow model I have up for grabs has now been sold.

Many thanks to those who enquired.

Brickie

Hi Brickie

I'm new here and one of my passions is Vincent bikes. I'm not familiar with kits as I mostly scratch build so can I ask what make your kit was and whether it would be a good one to search for? Any help much appreciated.

Von Trips

You're not THE Count von Trips of Ferrari fame in the 50's are you? See, I'm old enough to know that name. :sleep_1:

Anyway, thanks for the info. Shouldn't be too hard to find an R.A.E. kit as I already have a full bag of rocking horse droppings.

Someone else has told me the Revell is about the next best kit if I can find one so that will be my mission now.

Me again

I told you it wouldn't be hard to find an R.A.E. kit ... on E Bay today there's one in the US, brand new in bags for $600!!! That's $800 plus shipping to Canada.

Guess I'll pass on it.

Afraid 'Taffy' died before I was born! I do drive a Porsche RSK replica though! ;-) Coincidentally, R.A.E did make a very nice curbside Porsche 550 1/8th model which is how I discovered them.

I'm not sure what happened to their car stuff but I'm sure their moulds have been copied by various businesses!?

They did carry on doing the bikes for a while but still seem to be in business doing TV prop work. They are not far from me so I may give them a call for you tomorrow! :)

At that kind of money, most sane people would feel that they could live without one and pass!

1-24 Ford Cortina Mk 4; L, GL, S & Ghia, 1.6, 2.0 & 2.3 V6, 2 door, 4 door & estate please! After you've done the sprues for all that, a few bodyshell moulds will give you a Mk 3 and 5 (and a Taunus for the continent).

A few more sprues will give you a few Capris and Mk2 Escorts!

Always enjoy this question. For anything that's been a kit already would have to be the JoHan Penske Javelins (someone re-issue this one please).

For something new, would be most definitely a Maser, a twin-plug six cylinder like the original 3500 GTiS Sebring ('62-68). Love those era cars, so a GOOD DB-4 would do fine also.

1/8th Vincent Black Shadow.

1/12th Trumpeter GT40.

An Exoto 1/10th die cast would do instead but not at $4500!

Hi I'm new to this site. I couldn't find a place for posting "for sale" items or even if it's allowed. I have a 1/8 scale Vincent Black shadow made in England by Bailoy products LTD. It also says Big 6 on the box. It's in the original box with decals instructions and all. Would you be interested?

After buying the majority of my wants list only the expensive ones remain

Reji RS200

Profil24 Audi S1 Quattro (reji version will suffice but prefer this one as it has the engine) + Metro 6R4

Tamiya Peugeot 405 T16, Pioneer livery (got the Camel version) + RS500 Texaco jobbie + Shunko Michelin/Pilot decals for my Escort as mine are a little crinkly

Belkits Manta 400 (currently being manufactured not out yet) Fiesta WRC BEL003 +, Polo WRC Bel005 (will get these 2 soon)

Tamiya Alfa 155 Martini one,

Now I know that modern f1 isn't everyone cup of tea but it is mine so I would like to see these made soon or in some cases bought by me soon:

Ferrari f14t

Ferrari f15t

Williams from 2014 fw34 I think

Redbull rb10 and rb12

Haas vf01

Renault 2016 (can remember the name they gave it)

Mercs that monopost have made the w05 hybrid and the w06

Someone needs to make some British touring cars

Someone needs to make a generic gp2 car model then make available decal sets for most if not all the teams, and honestly I can see why no body has the cars are only on the 3rd gen since 2005 and there is more of a mixture of countries in gp2 so China and Japan could have a huge market in it and Belgium with vandoorne winning it easily last year would make a great kit beings he's not getting properly in f1 until 2017 at the earliest

I would like to see more lmp cars and gt leman cars or the current era made and from the late 90s early 00s like the monster bmw lm car and the Bentley from early 2000

Now like I say I know these aren't every ones favourite genre but surly there's a market for most of this I mean if ebbro are making mclarens worst ever car and beemax (I think) are shooting out wtcc cars then I would accept some of my list gladly

Any '50s Grand Prix car (as many as possible) - 1:24 would be OK, 1:12 or 1:8 would be the dog's ... Yeah, I know, at 1:8 I'd go broke quickly, but what a way to go!

I'd love the big names in group B made in plastic. Come on Belkits, give us a RS200. You have the Ford licence. Just don't get the chassis wrong like the Escort :(

I'm not sure on Heller's current situation as I heard they had gone bust, but I've always hoped they'd blindside everyone by releasing a BX 4TC. Hell I'd settle for one of the 4 Visa types that were homologated lol.

Oh and someone need to bring out a Volvo 480 kit ;)

All the Group B rally cars, for sure. And an RS 2000 Escort with the twin headlight nosecone thing (and full engine detail). And a decent, new TR7/8 also with full engine detail as appropriate (preferrably the non-US spec body) and Aussie Ford Falcons from XA to XD models in all body styles (someone wanted a Mad Max Interceptor - there is one kitted, but it's not quite right for thems as is fussy) ... and... I could go on.

Realistically, more time to model and better skills would be ace.
