John R
The day started brightly enough with the Spanish CASA 101s ( I think) Belgian F16 There was obviously a lot of moisture in the morning air. Finnish Hornet Kawasaki P1 put on a very sedate display Osprey My heart nearly stopped when the Vulcan took off. I thought for a moment that it was going in. I wasn't ready as I was just taking off my sweater when it appeared above the trees in what appeared to be a vertical bank but I manged to grab the camera in time It then flew past us Then it flew with the Red Arrows. The light was awful but I managed to resurrect these A400 seemed too nimble by half Polish Mig 29 Spitfire and Typhoon crossover Typhoon Edited July 20, 2015 by John R

F-32
Great shots. When the Vulcan was holding on Sunday ready for take off air traffic asked them to be less exuberant with the bank angle!
John R
I'm not surprised. It looked very disturbing. I did think about going back on Sunday to see it again and also get some pictures of the other stuff in the sunshine but couldn't face that trek again. James G
Wow, nice shots! I loved the MiG-29 in particular, unfortunately we got there about 1 so missed some of the morning stuff. First time I had been since 2006, this time it was 'outside' the show, just near the crash gate. Great view, the Hawk T2s came right over us, probably about 50 ft over our head at one point!
John R
Where was 'outside' and where did you park? John
bentwaters81tfw
Nice shots. I know what you mean about the Vulcan. It's a bit lighter than in full military kit, and they do seem to like departing from straight and level. Having seen it many times back in the day, it's display looks a bit exuberant. I would hate to see them overcook things in it's final displays. The crew are very experienced, but I have seen the results of pilots pushing the envelope before. smyfe
Hi, I was camping on Totterdown, not one of my pictures com anywhere near these. Thanks for sharing. Which field were you in ? Mick
John R
Coming down the route into the campsite there were toilets and an ice-cream van. I was in the field to the right about 100 yards along and level with the van. From there I could just see over the power wires. Higher up would have been better except that there were lots of flags. Hope this makes sense. John
