ivan-o
Very nice! Shame so much is hidden! Thanks for your comments and likes! It was built in the days before WIP and RFI so i had to do the best i could with the photos If anyone is tempted to do this conversion be aware it makes the kit very heavy and the suspension arms are not that strong i pinned mine. cheers, Ivan

Bish
Sorry to dig up an old thread, but thanks for posting this link ivan. I have seen one of tehse at a model show, but seeing it like that really shows all the great detail AA don't seem to have missed anything out from what i can see. And you did a cracking job on it, lovely weathering as well. Where did you get the fascine?
ivan-o
Cheers , it was easy to use, fascine was just plastic pipe from that LHS 😉
Bish
I've used a few of their detail sets and rather like them, no major issues.

Cheers, Ivan Thats a fine job Ivan. The interior is brilliant. Did you have any issues fitting it all together? I'm very tempted to but AA interior, still waiting to source another Academy Warrior. I have the Meng version bu I believe its a job and a half to get it to fit Meng kit. I have ordered Eduard's PE set for it and am hopeful of getting one soon. 👍
Bish
David, the AA interiour would not be correct for the Meng kit. There were a few changes in the early 2000's most noticable being the metal cage around the turret being replaced with fabric, cause in part after an accident in my battalion when the vehicle commander went through the metal cage and was pinned. I can't remember if it was changed before or after Op Telic, i am pretty sure it was before. Then in 2005/6 the raven site was replaced with BGTI and the clansman radios replaced with Bowman. And there were other minor changes as well. Plus the Meng kit as the drivers hatch with 3 episcopes, again fitted in 2005/6.
