Counter-piracy lynx

Recommended Posts

Hi

Here's my attempt at a Royal Navy counter-piracy Lynx - an out-of-the box Airfix 1/48 kit.

My second ever helicopter and my second Lynx too. Might be time to invest in an airbrush.....and some EZ Line....?

its a good build, well done

I used to paint with hairy sticks for several years, moved to airbrushing 5 years ago, and will never return to brush painting (apart from small details etc)

Revell do a nice starter airbrush which i've been using complete with compressor for around £99, thats lasted me 5 years so far and still using it.

Thanks for your kind comments!

Up close the Lynx had loads of brush marks and lumpy paint, especially at the front....

Time to embrace my inner geek & shell out for an airbrush I think. The basic Revell airbrush set is going for 80 quid online.
