kwality8
Hi Here's my attempt at a Royal Navy counter-piracy Lynx - an out-of-the box Airfix 1/48 kit. My second ever helicopter and my second Lynx too. Might be time to invest in an airbrush.....and some EZ Line....?

thepureness
its a good build, well done I used to paint with hairy sticks for several years, moved to airbrushing 5 years ago, and will never return to brush painting (apart from small details etc) Revell do a nice starter airbrush which i've been using complete with compressor for around £99, thats lasted me 5 years so far and still using it. Dave A
If you can do that with a brush, you'll amaze yourself with an airbrush - I did!
kwality8
Thanks for your kind comments! Up close the Lynx had loads of brush marks and lumpy paint, especially at the front.... Time to embrace my inner geek & shell out for an airbrush I think. The basic Revell airbrush set is going for 80 quid online.
