"The Northrop A-17 and its export derivatives" book to be released shortly!

That's got to be the best first post I've read on BM ever. Since it was initially announced I've been more amazed that it hasn't been done before in 48th. Maybe finally...

For the past months the final bits of work on the new book about the Northrop A-17 have been done. Yesterday, all text was proof read by relevant experts. All comments will be processed in the final editting.

This book will be your ultimate guide to the Antarki and Special Hobby kits! It'll count 150 pages and will be illustrated with hundreds of previously unpublished photomaterial and technical drawings. The authors were assisted by specialists from the Canadian and South African Air Forces, while aviation historians from all around the globe have provided material. The book was written by Nico Braas (Holland, expert on experimental and prototype aircraft) Santiago Rivas (Argentina), Amaru Tincopa (Peru) and myself, Edwin Hoogschagen (Holland).

Please keep yourself updated via www.lanasta.eu, or the product page at http://www.lanasta.eu/Shop/product/230/warplane-plus01.html

Sign me up for a copy of this book.  I really hope it will be followed by the Antarki kit...desperately want to build a few of these (Netherlands, Iraqi, Canadian...quite a few interesting schemes for an aircraft that was produced in relatively limited numbers).

Any news on the Antarki kit?? It would be nice to have a Nomad in the collection.

+1 on what he said. Any progress on this? Desperately waiting.

The book have a release date of 07-2019, and if the book is meant as a reference guide for the kit my hope is that the kit is not far away either.

The book is postponed and they "hope it will be finished some time this year".

I've contributed a little to the Swedish part in the book and they want to add some squadron badges and nose art.

The book is out.  Aviation Megastore in the Netherlands (brutal postage) and Aviation Book Centre in the UK.  I've ordered, not yet received.
