Dragonborn's Hurricane -FINISHED 2/9-

Recommended Posts

I'm going to build my hurricane second, so I can get some top tips off you all. Having given the kit the once over and having seen the ones posted on this site, I can't wait until twomorrow.

Phantom looks fantastic.

Instrument panel with decal that I used revell aqua mix to dissolve:

While dry fitting I found that the firewall and instrument panel was causing a slight gap at the wing join, and the front of the wing root needs a blob of filler.

a quick tape together, nice fit.....

well almost, quite a step at the lower cowl, hopefully it will be better when cemented in place:

IMO small fit issues aside this kit shows that Airfix really have upped their game over the last few years. :goodjob:

Good stuff, and that was a bit unlucky having that hole in the tail - I ran off to check mine..

We are pretty much at the same point with out Hurricanes, but i'm having a hell of a time sorting out the seams on the wings, it seems they didn't go together quite as smoothly as i would have liked.
