Superb craftsmanship Tom. I don't know what else to say.

I've been following this with great interest.

I've got the Combat C17 in my do do pile, so I know what the basis of this masterpiece looks like. Daunting is an understatement!

What you've done with it is truly inspirational.

I think that we are truly blessed to have access to and to be able to learn from such master modellers as yourself and others on this site.

Well done.

Tom, this was one of the most inspiring builds I've ever seen.

A true masterclass of how to overcome the shortfalls of a limited run kit, and let's face it, there are plenty of "kits" out there that don't really warrant that title! As a base point these "kits" are invaluable, and you've shown just what can be done with them with a little (ok, a LOT) of devotion and skill.

My hat's off to you sir!

It was a great WIP to follow along with.

Also, thanks to you completing this there is a much better chance Revell will upscale their 1/144th scale kit (come on Revell, you know you want to).

Beautiful job. From a 'virtually unbuildable' vacform to this stunningly amazing rendition - you have done yourself proud.

You are a true model maker (I'm extremely jealous).

Well done and thanks for sharing all the way through WIP. Much appreciated.

Your kind words are very much appreciated, folks

Hopefully the model will make the trip to Telford so many of you can see it 'in the flesh'.
