canberra kid
This is my old(ish) 1/72 Airfix AVRO 504, I've recently refurbished her. Yes I know it's not a Canberra! John

woody37
We don't see many of these built john, let alone in Irish markings, lovely little refurb

Max Headroom
That is very nice. Don't see many Airfix 504's built and IAC aircraft ain't exactly common on this forum, so doubly welcome. It may not be a Canberra but Avro did build some under licence, so there is a very tenuous connection! Trevor

JWM
Thank you John! Very nice work indeed . Thou I am doing only machines from conflicts 1935-45, Avro 504 is inside my field of interest - not "K" but later, "N" variant. The 504 N survived till WWII in some countries like Belgium, for instance... I have it in my stash ("K" to convert), waiting for her turn Cheers Jerzy-Wojtek

Natter
More proof that old Airfix kits can be made to look fantastic, with plus points for the IAC scheme.

jean
Having had the few plastic bits rattling in a plastic bag that are supposed to make an Avro 504, I find it hard to believe I am looking at the same thing.... after a tiny weeny bit of TLC from you... Totally amazing and the rigging is just superb! JR
