Brewer
Hey guys! Here's the latest one off the bench - Eduard's recent Spitfire VIII. This was my first time building one of Eduard's lovely Spitfires and now I see what all of the fuss was about! I'll certainly be building more in the future. Thanks for looking! - Brassin cockpit - Brassin wheels - Ultracast 1-pc cowl - Ultracast exhaust - Ultracast spinner/prop - Quickboost cockpit door - Master gun barrels - BarracudaCals decals Edited June 19, 2015 by Brewer

1015jim
Great Build. Brewer, What is your opinion of the Brassin cockpit and how does it compare to the kit cockpit? I'm considering one for my Spitfire Mk. IX but the cost is almost as much as another kit. Jim
Spikelhund
Great choice of scheme Jason, looks magnificent. Have you used Mr Colour paints on this one? Top job! Cheers...
Brewer
Great Build. Brewer, What is your opinion of the Brassin cockpit and how does it compare to the kit cockpit? I'm considering one for my Spitfire Mk. IX but the cost is almost as much as another kit. Jim Personally I will not be using the Brassin cockpit again. Detail isn't bad, certainly better than the kit parts, but for me it was not nearly as "drop fit" as advertised. Perhaps it was user error, but in the future I will be using the new cockpit set from BarracudaCast for my Eduard Spits Great choice of scheme Jason, looks magnificent. Have you used Mr Colour paints on this one? Top job! Cheers... Thanks! I used Tamiya for the Dark Green and Medium Sea Grey and a custom mix of Tamiya and Gunze for the Dark Earth, all acrylics
