JWM
Hi, It happend, that majority of not-posted yet models are American machines. Moreover - they are rather typical. Today I would like to present model of North American B25H-1 Mitchell in markings of 498 Squadron 354 Group, 5th Army, New Guinea, 1944. Individual name of machine "Clana Louise" In time when I made it, the Italeri was the best kit of B25, no Hasegawa kit was issued yet. It was about 2000. Free hand painting with brush of nose art and individual name. Grayson
That's a beauty. 1/72nd scale, really? At that scale you've done a better than good job. Top banana.
Dave N
Very nice indeed Jerzy, another unusual scheme! The paintwork is very impressive for being done by hand. Regards, Dave
Mitch K
With a name like mine, I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the B-25, so it's nice to see one here. Lovely as always, Jerzy!
Knight_Flyer
Good job painting the nose art by hand. It's quite interesting how those B-25's have this kind of unusual scheme. Model looks nicely worn for the theatre of operations it was in.

JWM
Thank you Gentelmen for very nice comments. The Pacific's and among them New Guinea's Mitchells have very nice and huge nose arts. I was also temptatad by a "Bat Squadron" - the 499th - painting schemes: http://www.worldwarphotos.info/gallery/usa/aircrafts-2-3/b-25-mitchell/b-25j-nose-art-bat-outa-hell-ie-shima-499th-bomb-squad-345th-bg-1945/ I have still second Mitchell in stash, waiting for its turn.... Ktrum7
I love the freehand paint, after all, I'm sue that in the field most art work was done freehand.
JWM
Thank you Ktrum7 for comment. You are right - the nose arts were always free hand painting, sometimes by people really gifted or tallented
