Spitfire Mk I PRoQ 609 sqn / Tamiya a 1:48

Recommended Posts

Few pics of another model finished in June - Tamiya 1:48 Spitfire Mk I.

I've added Eduard photo-etched zoom and resin exhaust originally dedicated to new Airfix Mk I/V. Decals from Aeromaster set 48-679 BoB Spitfires 1940.

Model painted with Gunze / Tamiya acrylics, weathered with AK and MiG oils, tamiya sticks and metallic pencils.

Thanks for watching.

Super model! Quite clearly a LOT of time and skill gone into this one, the photos show it well!

It's posts like this that make me wish my spare room was bigger, so I could model 1:48 instead :)

Very nice indeed and I concur with the above comments.

I recently made this very same aircraft using the new Airfix kit here- http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234980337-new-148th-airfix-spitfire-mki-r6690-pr-q-609-west-riding-sqn-1940/?hl=%2Bspitfire+%2Bpr-q

All the best wishes,

Tony
