thepureness
This is the Revell 1/48 PV-1 Ventura, this is the first time I've tried painting WWII US navy colours and i'm really please. This was a kit up the bottom build which started in 2013 but found its way to the pile, I decided to get it out and get it done and I'm please with the result. I've just changed the photos as looking at the post a few times, i realized how poor they were and tried to take some better ones in natural light

AndyC
I think that 3-tone USN scheme really looks good on 'twins' such as the PV and PBJ bombers - great work

Davek72
Looks fab. I have one of these in the stash and your build has prompted me to move it up to the top of the pile.
