SasaU.
Hi, I am working several days on Airfix beautiful new Bedford. My intention is to make this Started by tuning up the gas tanks and rear fenders. Next was the canvas top. As you can see on the original photo, the truck I am doing is of the fixed canvas type - i.e. it is considered a "van". So I had to fabricate a frame for a canvas. I made a new canvas top for a cab, too. Next will be filters, stains, dust, oil, rust etc. etc. etc. S. Edited June 1, 2015 by SasaU.

Bob Henry
I like this a lot. I am not very familiar with British vehicles. Is this a WWII vehicle ? If so, I might try to obtain one for my collection, which is entirely 1/48 scale. Thanks for posting. Bob H.

In the mean time I've managed to finish the Bedford: Will try to get some better pictures and place it to finished model section. Thanks a lot again. 85sqn
Very nice! How did you make the canvas? Were the decals from the spare box? What paint did you use for the stone colour? Cheers Nick
SasaU.
Very nice! How did you make the canvas? Were the decals from the spare box? What paint did you use for the stone colour? Cheers Nick Thank you I'am glad you like it Canvas is made from a very thin paper impregnated with thined white glue. They call it "silk paper" here. Decals are all laser printed. The stone color is a mix of gunze desert yellow with off white. I do not remember the ratio unfortunately. I was just experimenting and use some filters in the end so the final color is quite different from the one in the beggining.
