Speedman
Neither of these are the greatest of kits to be honest but there's not a lot of choice in this scale... That'll probably be because they are all repops of the old Crown kit. I'm going to be using these lovely decals from Miniscale.

trickyrich
Welcome aboard, with some lovely wee Lightnings. The nice thing about this scale is that they will go together nice and quick and look good. The canopies don't look that great but you can easily vacform some new ones. I do like the colour schemes you have chosen. Well even at this last stage it's good to have you here, good luck with your builds and look forward to seeing them in their final schemes. Speedman
Cheers Well I've made a bit of a start... OK, so I've pretty much finished the bulk of construction Lots of cutting, filing, filling and sanding on the engine/boom to wing joints though! Plenty of nose weight plus more in the engines for good measure. Main assemblies together and all the gear doors added.

Speedman
Thanks The noses are looking better now as well! Camera bulges added and a re-profiled nose for the Chinese F-5 and the Yugo plane now has some guns. I've also primed and started the painting.
