PaulR
Hallo all, well, had this on the go for the best part of eight years; this is to say that I started in eight years ago, slapped more filler than I thought possible and then left it in a box in my cupboard for eight years. I have always liked the Wyvern, and although tempted by the probably easier build of the Trumpeter kit was put off by the rivets. I set to with heavy duty sanding pads, and finally wrestled it into submission. Am pleased I did; it certainly makes for an impressive model, and Classic Airframes certainly seemed to have got the shape right even if fit was a bit iffy. I used the kit decals, and Xtracrylix/Tamiya paints; I plumped for the maroon indicated in the instructions for the spinner and finlets rather than the reds I have seen more commonly by using a Humbrol railway colour. Anyway... 8 years in the making!
Beard
Looks good... the hard work has paid-off. There's something about the Wyvern that makes me want to make one. Edited June 1, 2015 by Beard

David H
Nice job. You have to admit, it sure was a different looking kind of attack plane. david
stevehnz
Seriously nice, I like that a lot. One of my favourite planes in a quirky off beat way & you've done it proud. Steve.

I agree, it has a very odd looking but in a good way?... Must have worked as an attack AC, enemy word have stood and stared wondering what the hell it was. Great work on this kit, looks fantastic! bryanm
Very nice and must be one of the weirdest shapes to have entered service. The Suez stripes are a nice touch as well.
moaning dolphin
Very nice version, it can be a troublesome kit but you have turned it into something very good. Bob
