JWM
Hi, Next very archive models from my shelves. Almost forty years old... First is Fiat G50 bis, from Airfix - but with deeply reshaped fuselage. A bigger (enlarged by diameter) cowling, also a bit differently (upward) placed, the whole fuselage cut behind cockpit to lower a bit rear part of it. Markings of 351 Squadron, 21th Group, 56th Stormo, Regia Aeronautica based in Ursel (Belgium) during BOB, 1940. Decals partially from ESCI (squadron emblem for example). Unfortunately decals became yellowish with years. Second is Fiat G 55 from Frog, in markings of RSI, 1944, Northern Italy. That one is mostly OOB, except decals (emblems also from ESCI) and blinding the space between cockpit and wheel bays.. Both are rather far from contemporary standars. G55 I made in 1975 or 76 and G 50 about year later. Anyway I would like to present them, I hope somone will like it ... Mitch K
The G50 I built earlier this year was a much newer kit, but also required a lot of work! Thanks for sharing.
JWM
Thank you Beard, Blitz23 and Mitch for comments. Interesting, Mitch, that new G50 (AML?) needs efforts. Sometime I wish to do second G50 with close canopy, perhaps Spanish war...But I do not have it in stash, yet. Cheers J-W

JWM
Thank you for link, Mitch. Very instructive in inspiring. I started to think on G50B - the two seater in Croatian markings.... Cheers J-W
Darby
Fiat G50bis. My fave Italian fighter. Loved the Airfix kit when I got it as a kid and it was painted with Airfix paint. Yep, that long ago. Would be nice if they re-tooled it.
JWM
Thank you Darby - I agree - in the long list of re-tooled Airfix, following Defiant, Blenheim IV, Beaufighter, Tiger Moth - somewhere there should be G50....
