1/48 Trumpeter Seafang OOB

Built out of the box, finished and then realised the serial is incorrect...! Just read an article that says that these started at 895, not 885...! Too late now though!

Nice work – really captures the racy lines of the Spiteful/Seafang!

Not being very familiar with the type, I can't comment on any potential outline problems. However, I do remember that a couple of years back, the dev posted CAD pics here on BM, asking for input. I replied that propeller blades need to have twist…

Of course, that fell on deaf ears. I think that the model would really benefit from replacement blades instead of those ridiculous flat planks masquerading as Rotols. ;-)

Otherwise, a very cool job!

Luckily I spotted the error when I did mine and changed it.

I think VB885 belonged to a Sunderland!

Looks great Oz, going to use a spare Spitfire F24 prop for my Spiteful when I get round to it.
