Simon Cornes
Is this available as a print? Its very good and up with the best! Are you a member of the Guild? Simon
Gray
Thank you Simon. I don't make prints of my work except for myself or the odd friend. Just a spare time hobby, so not a member of any guilds now. Thanks again for taking the time to have a look. Cheers.
nick32
Would you consider doing prints? The more i look at this one the more i like it, it's very very good! Nick
Gray
Thanks again for your interest Nick, I just really don't have any interest in getting into the business of prints. The costs and amount of time spent for the number of prints sold just doesn't add up. There just isn't a big market for this kind of work. I do appreciate you asking though. Cheers. Learstang
Brilliant work! As something of an aspiring/failed artist, how did you do this? What programmes did you use? Best Regards, Jason
Gray
Thanks, Jason. I use both graphics types, vector and raster. I start by creating a 3D wireframe of the planes I want to do. I work out the compositions and use the wireframes as the basis for the drawings. The backgrounds are a mix of vector drawing and digital painting. The planes are usually all vector. The vector software is Xara Photo and Graphic Designer and I use a couple of different digital paint programs ( anything with layers). For something like this one it takes probably 60+ hours of work from start to finish.
