AngstROM
I don't know where this thread has been hiding from me (!) but I just caught up with it -congratulations on a really magnificent outcome for this awesome project. Yesterday, Mads Bangsø's Aircraftprofiles turned up on Facebook's Navy Planes In Scale page with just such a Fury. The sheer coolness of VF-33's '55 markings had me scratching around eBay to locate ESCI's 1/48 monopoly of this elegant aircraft. But having read this...not gonna happen any time soon! I can only hope that Kitty Hawk will augment their Cougars and Banjos with the -3 we all deserve. Edited November 2, 2016 by AngstROM
Jon Kunac-Tabinor
Finally managed to get some pic sup in RFI for this one. http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235012317-north-american-fj-3-fury-escis-old-model-with-a-few-ameliorations/ Cheers for watching, and thank you all for your support and comments. The FJ-3 may not have been a total winner as a navy fighter, but to my eyes its the prettiest "Sabre" of all. Jonners
jpk
Kitty Hawk just announced they will be doing a FJ-3 Fury. CADs have been posted to their Facebook page. Renderings look pretty good.
janneman36
What a lovely build of this Fury very well executed, i still have one in the stash. It resembles more a FJ-2 Fury than a 3 though it is marketed as FJ-2 and FJ-3....i always thought that it was a little odd..

Hi - yes i saw that - looks like and early and late version ( or perhaps an FJ-2 & 3 - its hard to say from the CAD without seeing the nose intake properly) Jonners
