Viking
I wonder how much of the original is still in/on the auction machine Too right John. Wasn't that the one on TV that Guy Martin helped on? If so, I recall it had a new build fuselage. Followed by new build wings, tailplane, cockpit fittings, undercarriage, and finally a new engine and propeller. Effectively it was reproduction rather than a restoration. But at least it's a Mk.1 Spitfire in the air, and that is a good thing by any measure!
