1/72 Revell Mirage 2000 Flying Tiger

Recommended Posts

Here is my 1/72 Mirage 2000 Fly Tiger. This was an out of the box build apart from the pilot (from Revell's Pilot pack) and the home-made stand. It was a straight forward apart from the Tiger decals which were a bit of a pain. You can see the build at http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234980531-172-revell-mirage-2000-tiger-meet/

Wow!! That really is stunning! Lovely paint job, great colours and superbly weathered :mike:

I'm surprised you mention it was a straightforward build: my experience with Italeri's 2000s is that they are dogs to build yet somehow end up looking half decent in the end. In this case it's an excellent model and the decals really give it extra punch.

Master Zen to be honest I didn't think the kit was that bad but then again lately I have been building old Airfix kits so that could be the reason I might just be cracking up :banghead:

Very nice kit.

Applying decals on the tail isn't easy.

You are spot on the money, I think the worse part of the build was doing the decals; what a nightmare.
