1/72 Lockheed F -94 starfire

l was reading this thread on the Sword Starfire and it seemed to be a difficult kit to build. Then there is the Heller kit of the same aircraft. Ok guys what is your opinion of either. Which is the better kit to build? I am also looking at the Emhar F-94C late version with the True Details cockpit but also unsure of it as well

I built a Heller version, the 94B, about 14 years ago and, whilst I did finish it, it was almost consigned to the bin on several occasions. I have also built the Emhar 94C and that was not much fun either but having a proper cockpit would make life simpler as I remember trying to decide where to fit the kit item was somewhat difficult.

Many possible improvements to original Sword kit are described and illustrated.

Hmmm seems no matter what one l get there is some work to be done on them. I will have to find better pictures of the Heller one to see if being the cheaper alternative is equally or slightly better.

No comparison whatsoever.

Heller's 1983 kit has poor detail, so-so fit, raised panel lines etc..

Go with Sword.
