perdu
Do any ex maintainers remember whether the starboard side 'no-gun' area had a case dumping vent fitted? I know there were the small 'Sabrinas' on both sides but did both have the vent tubes fitted I am about to finish off my paint jobs but would like to get that small detail right As I am bound to have the wrong names for the things I apologise if I offend the fast jet family with my misnomers It'd be nice to finish these three before I pop across to France in June I must add before you find what you are looking for in seconds, that I have tried various fruitless searches Google aint my friend far too often
perdu
Ahh belay that request chaps just found a stunning picture of a 'two greys' T2 (or 4?) making a pass with her belly exposed and only one vent pipe (How come I made the same search on Friday and got zilch?) Anyway thanks for being here when we need each other, I know one of you will have known the answer bill
Selwyn
Ahh belay that request chaps just found a stunning picture of a 'two greys' T2 (or 4?) making a pass with her belly exposed and only one vent pipe (How come I made the same search on Friday and got zilch?) Anyway thanks for being here when we need each other, I know one of you will have known the answer bill Jag t bird was only fitted with one (port) gun so there would not be any gun related vents on the starboard side. Selwyn I knew that Selwyn but they did have the Sabrina bulges with louve vents at the trailing end, just wasn't sure about whether they'd have the pipes installed for symmetry purposes Happily they didn't Thanks
jaguarfan
Sorry but if you mean the bulges with the louvered vents at the rear underneath the gun bay doors then yes they were on both sides even on a two seater! XX829 at Newark Museum has both. http://nabe3saviation.web.fc2.com/images9/waJag-25.jpg apologies if this breaches any copyright. If you mean the round vent pipes then only one. http://nabe3saviation.web.fc2.com/images9/waJag-29.jpg cheers Bob
Julien
If you look in the walkaround section probably our most comprehensive walkaround we have is for the Jaguar. Here is the T-2 side you mention with the panel open but you can still see the bulge with the louvers in it. All the pics here; http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/70916-sepecat-jaguar/
