Hockeyboys Egg.

Well that's that argument sorted over what came first!!

This is just a quick one to wet the appetite for the main Phabulous Phantom build "everything looks cool in a cammo wrap!".

As you can see I have built Hasegawa's Phantom Egg. Hand painted in Humbrol enammels & the underside is Halfords Appliance white from a rattle can.

There is a WIP but it was just a case of gluing wings & fuse together & painting so not many pic updates in it.

May I present Capt X Benidict of Japan Air Self-Defence Force & a sneaky Spook.

Time to add my next build. For Hockeyboy's Phird, which is actually the second one I have completed for this GB.

I have "made" the LS 1/144 F-4F.

It has been painted on the sprue & then left on & mounted in a deep frame.

Hope you enjoy the following pictures.

1/32 Revell F-4F kit with many adjustments and additions. Looks great in black!

F-4F JG72 Hopsten Flyout 2005. 37 + 11 was one of the first block of F-4Fs delivered to the Luftwaffe. It was used for Training and Evaluation at the Fluglehrzentrum Hopsten.

Used Eduard exterior etch, Peddinghaus decals for the serial numbers, Master metal probes, Brassin wheels. Everything else extra was scratchbuilt, including the underside decals and nose gear leg. Build thread HERE

Hasegawa's 1/48 F-4J built to represent an F-4J (UK). Decals are from Xtradecal for the Tiger Squadron markings and then Revell and Hasegawa for a few stencils. As Jens pointed out in the build thread, the main fuselage grey is too light but I'd already finished the decals by the time it was noticed.

Build thread here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234984777-mozzys-f-4j-uk/

And that concludes my entries into this GB, thanks to all who have participated so far and here's hoping we see a few more in the gallery. :D

I'm going to try get some better pictures so watch this space. ;)

Hi mates,

My entry in the Group Build is the Hasegawa 1:72 F-4S Phantom II, done in the colourful retirement markings of the United States Marine Crops VMFA-321 "Hell's Angels." This aircraft is commonly referred to as "Triple Nuts" due to its Squadron Number of "000." Extras include the Verlinden photoetch and resin detail set for the cockpit, exhaust interior, and radar; Verlinden resin ejection seats; Eduard Colour Zoom for the instrument panels and control panels; True Details resin wheels and tyres; and Master pitot tubes for the vertical fin.

The WIP thread can be found here. Enjoy!
