Jon Bryon
Here's my latest creation to roll off the workbench: Trumpeter's 1/48 MiG-15UTI Midget with Cold War Studio resin tail and rudder. The finish is Alclad II White Aluminium and the decals are homemade (numbers) and from the kit (stars). A very nice kit. Full story Here: www.jonbryon.com/MiG15UTI.html. Jon Bryon
Thanks everyone. It was fun kit to build. I had a disaster with the paint job; the photos are maybe a little flattering! Cheers Jon
Skids
Thats a superb looking Mig 15 What was the CWS Tail like for fit etc? (I have the Mig 21 nose for my next build)
Jon Bryon
The fit was very good along the length of the fuselage, but the resin tail was much narrower than its plastic base at the fuselage. A lot of white Milliput went into that join. I too have the MiG-21 nose and have no concerns about it fitting. Jon

exdraken
superb! did you do anything about the cockpit, or is it the kit's one? here is cold war studio's webpage if anyone (like me)is interested! http://www.coldwarstudio.com/Products.html
Mixvs Minimax
That's a very beautiful metal scheme. Won't You highlight the panel lines in the red stars?
Jon Bryon
superb! did you do anything about the cockpit, or is it the kit's one? here is cold war studio's webpage if anyone (like me)is interested! http://www.coldwarstudio.com/Products.html It's the kit cockpit, I just added seat belts. I've given up caring much about cockpits; no one can see inside my models, I always close the canopy, and life's too short Won't You highlight the panel lines in the red stars? I would have done if the kit decals had budged. As it was, they refused to soften for Daco Strong, Mr Softer or Microsol Thanks Jon
