DEAW
This preshade is Modulation technique that reference light and shadow shining on surface , painting before paint real color.

Deon
I wanted to say 'great build' but what really caught my eye was the effect of the extreme preshading. My own build stalled 20 years ago when I couldn't find a way of making the scheme look interesting to me. I think you may have solved my problem. Thank you

adrianm2
Fantastic paint job DEAW. Very impressive model indeed. Beautifully done! What are the fins on the engines? I have never seen them that big before - are they a recent modification on RAF E-3s?Tom I got that kit on the bench now and just notice the big engine fins Tom was asking about. I think you might have mistaken the wing tips that need to be removed for the RAF aircraft, for the engine fins (parts 84->87). The engine fins are a bit less than half the size of the wing tips. It looks like an easy fix. Beautiful Sentry you got there anyways. Adrian
