Max Headroom
The new edition of Airfix Magazine has a test shot build of the TF.X. One of their best apparently. As an example it comes with two types of anhedral tailplane. Ribbed interior and wing stub spars to ensure the right anhedral. Two choices of marking, a home based example and a FEAF Dark Earth/Dark Green Medium Sea Grey (?) underside. Can't wait........ Trevor the impatient Great news, so we won't have to fettle the 55 year old TFX kit for much longer. Just shows that continual mentioning of the subject does pay off or maybe it's simply a coincidence. Trevor, I think you meant 'dihedral' on the tailplane. dogsbody
Ah! I went back and checked. The original posted later states that he didn't build it but re-posted pictures from Airfix. Sorry! Chris

No, this was Jen's build, but she stated it's a test shot and the kit is not yet available to buy, Cheers, Bill.
Max Headroom
If that's a test shot then I'd settle for it. I like the SEAC marking option that is to be given. Trevor
SimonL
Ditto Trevor, very nice. Anyone know if it will have the "bulge" on nose for an Australian Mk 21?
Dave Fleming
Ditto Trevor, very nice. Anyone know if it will have the "bulge" on nose for an Australian Mk 21? Doesn't seem to in it's initial release, but there is plenty evidence Airfix have made provision for more options from the way the kit is engineered (Post war for example - new nose, increased area fin) so who knows Edited April 13, 2015 by Dave Fleming
The wooksta V2.0
IIRC, Quickboost have the later TF.X radar nose and fin fillet available for the Hasegawa kit, which with some tweaking may well fit the Airfix kit. https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/QB72117 From what I've seen, they look like direct copies of the Hasegawa parts.
