The James
Hello and welcome to my first WiP thread! After my (somewhat sarcastic) moanings over Britmodeller taking up all my modelling time, I managed to ban myself from the forums for a while and get down to building some stuff! As mentioned in my introductory thread (See here) I have a handful of 144 scale kits that I am using to get my eye in and practice some techniques before moving to my scale of preference, 1/72. Also small, inexpensive and unobtrusive models are a good starting point from the perspective of the wife - at least I think they are anyway! So, just one photo so far, I've finished a Revell Mig-25 and have a Revell F-16C and Mirage F.1C nearing completion. There are inaccuracies and omissions of certain details that I am aware of, but I'm generally treating these as practice kits. I've had immense fun in building these so far, but have been surprised by the level of fiddliness one experiences at this scale! That being said, I'm impressed by how good they can look lined up together, all tiny and 'cute'!
modelglue
Nice work! They could probably pass for some larger scale.
rx7850
Looking good. That Mig just drawrfs the other fighters. And I see you like 1/72 as well.
The James
A bit more work done on the Mirage scheme! It's nice getting acquainted with a tiny paintbrush again!
