Junglie invasion at Newquay:

Not long to go now before these are retired so it was indeed a pleasure to see 4 x Sea Kings arrive at Newquay on Tuesday afternoon. They had been working on Bodmin Moor and came into Newquay for some fuel before returning to Yeovilton.

For the number crunchers they are ZA299/D; ZA296/Q; ZF116/WP and ZF117/X.

It still looks like a busy military airfield, what with the 99 Sqn Globemaster III taking off in the background too! Great pics of the old Junglies, cheers for sharing them.

I hope that a fair few of the Junglies get preserved when they are retired? I have a deep affection for them,

Cheers

Tony

Great pic's, every time I see Junglie pics I get excited at the prospect of the forthcoming Airfix addition!
