Stesca
Here is the next plastic lump for me, I love this vehicle and have three Italian army ones in the stash, using Echelons Spanish decal set and periscope/ mirror set, Should be a quicker build than some of my others, Cheers Steve. GForceSS
Very nice work so far. I have both a long station wagon and short hull versions going right now. I added the RB Prod metal barrels and Voyager PE sets too. Although I only used about 1/3 of each set. I replaced the tires with resin replacements from Lion Roar as well. Its a great fit and well detailed offering from Trumpeter.

SeanM
Nice vehicle alright. I've done one of the Italian versions: great kit with no real issues that i can recall but it was a while ago.
andym
It's an excellent kit. My Italian version is almost done I just need to make a new mantlet cover as the kit one doesn't fit that well. One thing though to watch out for are the lifting rings on the hull, these should slant slightly inwards, a point not made clear in the instructions, see here: http://data3.primeportal.net/tanks/marco_folin/centauro/images/centauro_11_of_93.jpg http://data3.primeportal.net/tanks/marco_folin/centauro/images/centauro_43_of_93.jpg http://data3.primeportal.net/tanks/marco_folin/centauro/images/centauro_53_of_93.jpg I had to remove mine and reattach them in the correct position after I noticed it in ref. pics. foxy
Nice looking vehicle that. Similar to the French type, or is it Chec type. Great start there Steve. foxy
Stesca
Quick update, I had a few problems with the photo etch for the step and light guards, Trumpeters etch seemed a little vague and the folds were not always as clear as they are in their newer stuff but any way I got them done reasonably though they could be better, have ordered the ET models sets for my Italian ones, Thanks for looking. Stesca
Ok a little more done, on holiday for two weeks soon so trying to get it to the painting stage before I go, the turret baskets were very fiddly and took some patience and trimming, Still enjoying this one and it is a great looking vehicle, Thanks Steve. Stesca
More work done, looking the part now, so I had a torrid time trying to work the Trumpy PE for the small step on the left side but that was nothing compared to the torture that followed trying to build the four large steps two each side, after two days this is what I ended up with, these are a torturers dream so I have decided to scratch build them, I am not looking for complete accuracy in these but an overall effect, Thanks.
