A French Vulture

Recommended Posts

It is starting to look pretty smart! That's going to be good!!!

Yes, the Vautour is a big airplane. These were the good days for the French aircraft manufacturing industry!

Keep having fun!

Enzo,

Where are you with this brute?

I love the lines of the Vautour - it epitomises 1950's era aircraft.

I sprayed the dark parts of the NMF about five minutes ago.

It is often said that if an aircraft looks right, it is right. That certainly applies to the Vautour. It also applies to the Etendard that I'm building as well.

Primed with Alclad2 Black primer and microfiller.

Natural metal sprayed on. The base is using an aluminium auto paint rattle can. Other areas are different shades of Alclad2.

Just about ready for the stickers...

It would appear that you will be displaying a fairly new plane, as most "used" ones were a kind of dull, uniform NMF.

With decals on, it will look a million bucks!
