ForestFan Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 (edited) Hi, here's a few pics of my current WIP. Nice kit but not without a few fit problems. Thanks for looking. FF Edited March 31, 2015 by ForestFan 3
ForestFan Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 A bit of peace and quiet = time for masking! Might get chance to paint some of the dark brown camo later. Cheers 2

ForestFan Posted March 31, 2015 Author Posted March 31, 2015 Hi, here's where I am with this build (being built as part of a Group Build on Flory Models so apologies for any duplication or breaking of etiquette!). Thanks for looking. FF 6
Andrew Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Very, very nice. You've captured the camouflage well; it looks just as that scheme should. Well done. The refuelling probe sans door is a great touch. Did you scratch this, or is there an aftermarket insert? cheers, Andrew. 1
The James Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 That's coming along nicely, I'm looking forward to seeing the armament, if any! 1

The refuelling probe was from the spares box, part of an undercarriage or something. The bay itself was just a scratch built boxing in exercise. I believe all Iranian F-14s were without the bay doors. Cheers. FF 1

FF Well done; I'll keep these ideas in mind when I finally undertake an Iranian or late USN Tomcat myself. Andrew.
