Seamus
Afternoon all, Took a trip to Brize on Saturday for my first outing with the camera this year. Weekends can be a bit hit and miss, and whilst there wasn't as many movements as I'd hoped for, it was a decent day out nonetheless, especially once the sun had come out. Here's a selection from a Voyager-heavy day, a handful more can be found on my Flickr Photostream for those interested. canberraman
Some terrific shots Seamus, thanks for posting. It's amazing how much has changed at Brize within the last 18 months following the retirement of the VC10, Tristar, C130K. I guess I will have to get down there when the weather warms up as I've yet to see an RAF A400. Regards Mark

Rick Brown
Takes me back..... It's actually nice to see a new fleet of aircraft for the RAF. Ok, the first C17's aren't exactly young anymore, but they've aged well (in looks, not sure about role equipment...). So far. Thanks for the shots Shaun. Rick. Paul J
Good pics! The A330 Voyager is one of those types that is growing on me too. looks interesting in uniform and those extra sticky outy bits. A change from norm of plain airliners. I wonder who will be the first with a nice kit of it in either 1/144 or 72nd....??? Maybe Revell could retool their 1/144 A330 with extra bits and corrected shape.

Seamus
Thanks all, glad they were of interest. It's amazing how much has changed at Brize within the last 18 months following the retirement of the VC10, Tristar, C130K. Indeed. Excluding a quick hour last year whilst I was in the area, this was my first visit since the VC10s final operatinal sortie. A little strange seeing the place devoid of these classics, and much too quiet as well! The newer genration of aircraft are still good to see when I get the chance however, and after beeing buzzed by one at work the day before my visit, I'm looking forward to getting a proper chance to see the A400s bashing the circuit. Cheers, Shaun
