cmatthewbacon Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 (edited) Probably one of the hardest kits I've ever built. The level of detail is fantastic, especially around that complex engine bay, but sometimes it's more ambitious than the toolmakers could live up to. The body shell out of the box is pretty flimsy, with "working" front bonnet and engine cover, so I glued them in place to help straighten out the main body piece. Full build WiP, with all the gory details, here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234977163-bugatti-eb110-revell-124/ bestest, M. Edited March 14, 2015 by cmatthewbacon 9
alan1302 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 It's come together well. Is the Revell kit the same moldings as the Heller kit?
Harfoot Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Great build and paint job, i remember when the real car was launched and how modern it looked back then, amazing how car design dates so quickly.
Rich G Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I watched his build with anticipation, as I have one of these in the stash, I've learnt a lot from seeing you complete this build, thanks. Excellent result in the end it looks superb! Rich
cmatthewbacon Posted March 10, 2015 Author Posted March 10, 2015 Thanks, guys...and now, the blue beast is back, and this time it's brought a friend: ...a pair of early 90s supercar classics. Just the F50, Diablo and NSX to go now! bestest, M.
cmatthewbacon Posted March 10, 2015 Author Posted March 10, 2015 ... and here's a nicer picture, taken to test out a new photo set-up: bestest, M.
Séan Pádraig Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I can remember when this car was first launched (real car that is). It was outlandish and lavish and a credible revival for the Marque. Great build.
cmatthewbacon Posted March 14, 2015 Author Posted March 14, 2015 Thanks, guys... I'm beginning to get the hang of the new photo set-up properly now, so, without further ado: bestest, M. 1
triumphfan Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 She looks fantastic. I have heard from several people that this kit is a bear to build. It will be a great collection when you have the other 90's cars done. Steve.
