David Womby
Looking through the 1992 RAF Yearbook there's a great pic of XV466 letting loose a string of flares and the caption says 'Additional equipment carried by the No 1435 Flight Phantoms includes a flare dispenser to decoy heat seeking missiles.' I can't see from the pic, or any of the other pics, what type of flare dispenser was fitted and where. Was it an ALE40 like the Jaguars and Buccaneers got or what? Thanks David

spike7451
What he said....Ah the Falklands, where Bennies are........................"Stills" (we were told we couldn't call the locals Bennies (after Benny from Crossroads) so we called them 'Stills' as in they're 'Still Bennies!")
