vags
Hi there, I am back with a less glamorous build -than the larger scales, the new kits and the aftermarket products can provide- but still beautiful and interesting (I hope). I used the old Matchbox kit with a few modifications/improvements and a lot of nostalgia though I couldn't resist using after market products from "Radial Engines & Wheels 72", "Barracuda Studios" and "LM Decals". It is my 118th build and my 82nd in 1/72nd. It took me 9.5 months to build, from May 2014 to February 2015. Martian
A beautiful little model! Nine and a half months well spent I would say! Martin
Vingtor
A very nice Norseman model. You have done a good job with this one. The Matchbox kit has many faults, being a mix of a Mk.IV and a Mk.VI. Nils
2wheels
Would never have thought it was a Matchbox kit from looking at it. Far and above the quality of the contents of the box, ...and then some! Nice colour scheme too.

woody37
If you hadn't of said, I would never of believed it's a matchbox kit. It's a real gem of a build and because of the base kit, we can appreciate the skill that's gone into it
vags
I decided to put my model on a base along with a bicycle but then I realized that I had to build one from scratch ( http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234983106-huffman-model-81-usaaf-ww2-bicycle-172-scratchbuilt/ ). Fortunately all went well and now I just have to figure out the final stage set - the following pics are test shots. Keep Modelling! KiwiRho
Haha! I love the bike. What a great finish. It looks so tough almost like you could hit it with a hammer and the hammer would bounce right back. I like. seadog
Really nice...Is that Bicycle a Schwinn or a Huffy?
HP42
That's a truly superb build. I'm astounded at the quality. Did the chequered cowling come as a decal? I've got the same kit but can't find any aftermarket decals for it. I want to do the exact same scheme but with a different serial number.

SAT69
Beautifully built. The display is excellent, the bike is very nice and the scratch built bike is superb. The bike is a good reference to the actual size of the airplane. Taken altogether, Your build is awesome.

TheyJammedKenny!
Why didn't I notice this sooner? This is a superb accomplishment using the old Matchbox kit! Everything about this is gorgeous, and your scale effect is right on target. Alex T.
