Knikki
After having a moan in the GB Chat I thought I would, try, and do something with Mila and as you will see I have changed her again. This is the other Mila figure I have, so the original one above, will now be used at a later date for the attempted trial to make her look like a Starcraft Ghost. So what have I learnt in doing this. Airbrushes are great, but I have a lot still to learn Vallejo Liquid Mask is interesting to use and water based, so if you keep your brushes wet while applying it, then you will have less chance of ruining the brush you use. Mind you if you let it dry on the brush you can kiss it good bye. "Don't leave it on to long" I still have no idea how long that is. Blue tack is your friend in getting the mask off the figure. Taking the mask off can also remove the paint underneath as well , I have no idea why but I assume that as I am using Vallejo paints it has not been on long enough to cure or harden, mind you you can't keep the mask on that long, so they say. So here are some update images, I have taken one or two angles to show that I have attempt to "shade" areas, something I still need to learn about. I think by clicking on the image should show a larger one. Edited May 22, 2015 by Knikki
